Remedial Assessment
One of our clients is a large utility company with a groundwater remediation system on the site of a former manufactured gas plant. The system is located on the banks of a major river, with strict remedial objectives in place for minimizing surface water contamination adjacent to the property. In addition to providing O&M services for the treatment system, BAI recently conducted a remedial assessment and submitted a report addressing whether the system was achieving its remedial objectives. The scope of work included the installation of several extraction wells, monitoring wells and vibrating wire piezometer wells in the river bed to assess ground water recovery. The project was a resounding success, delivered to the client on time and under budget.
